NIEVE Couture Best-selling Veils, Tiaras, Jewellery at BBEH

Tuesday, March 29th, 2011

Yesterday we looked at the best selling new wedding veils, tiaras and jewellery from the Richard Designs Stand M33 at the BBEH. Today, we show you the best selling new styles from the NIEVE Couture stand, the home of quirky, high-end tiaras, veils and jewellery.

The theme for this collection is ‘A Whimsical Woodland Daydream’ and includes new fabrics and laces, and beautiful floral accents. You all loved the new veils, tiaras and jewellery and the bestsellers reflect the theme very well, with flowers and fabric headdresses taking over from the heavy, silver crystal tiaras, and long flowing lace veils replacing heavy crystal scatters.

Wedding Veils

Lace was the winner here, with beautiful delicate lace-edged veils NV156 and NV165, and the lace butterfly detail on NV153 being the most popular.

BBEH Bestselling Wedding Veils, Tiaras & Jewellery

Monday, March 28th, 2011

Orders made at the British Bridal Exhibition in Harrogate are already making their way out of the door and we hope that you like what you have chosen. If you could not make it to the show, then this is a great opportunity for you to see what the favourite Wedding Veils, Tiaras & Jewellery were for this season.

There was a clear indication that brides are becoming more adventurous with their accessories and are seeking something a little different and individual. Richard Designs are at the forefront of design and push the trends each show, and you will see that this March BBEH was no exception.

Wedding Veils

The favourite veil was this gorgeous C346B, with lace applique and crystal detail on the train of the veil. Elegant and modern, and easy to match to a gown with lace detailing.

In our destination themed collection, this C342A crystal wedding veil was very popular, with it’s modern embroidered detail mimicking the waves of the sea. This photograph shows the veil on our new sparkle silver tulle, with a subtle all-over glistening effect which can be added at no extra charge to any veil style.Crystal wedding veil C342A

The fun detail on this C345A captured the highly-sought after bow look with a modern, different twist. Hand applied silver crystals on the train of this veil give a beautiful look that would go perfectly with any dress incorporating bows. Crystal wedding veil bow C345A

Tiaras

The sweeping side tiara TR1267A was a big hit, with it’s Swarovski moonlight crystals and soft, sweeping lines it is flattering and on-trend.Crystal side tiara TR1267A

What did we get up to at the BBEH March 2011?

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

We had such a great show this March in Harrogate, which you can read about on the Bridal Buyer website. We always work so hard to make sure that our four stands are varied and interesting for visitors, so that you can not only see the new sparkling veils, tiaras, jewellery, petticoats and millinery, but you have a fun experience whilst doing so.

This March, our themes were Wedding in Wonderland and Fishtail Fantasies & Pearly Persuasions. The Wedding in Wonderland themed tiaras, veils and jewellery were set on a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, complete with grass, bunting, vintage tea cups and even magic potions!

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

The Fishtail Fantasies theme was perfect for our Destination Wedding section of the stand, to show the options for accessorising for a wedding abroad. The veils, tiaras and jewellery looked perfect around the crystal waterfall falling into the rockery, and perched on large shells.

The Boutique Collection stand looked as bright and cheerful as always, housing some gorgeous new hats and fascinators for mother of the bride and other special occasions.

NIEVE Couture was beautifully sophisticated, and you all loved the new quirky headdresses and veils, in the Whimsical Woodland Daydream theme. Flowers and twines were abundant, with luxurious fabrics moulded into unusual shapes.

Last, but not least, William and Jennifer were very pleased to see everyone that visited the Blue Ribbon Petticoat Stand, whether it was as a new customer or an existing one popping on to say hi and see the new styles.

But the stands were not the only place where Richard Designs shone at the show. The Catwalks exclusively showed our veils, tiaras, and headdresses. We had such a great reaction from the catwalk shows, and we are pleased to say that we will be featuring our headwear on the Catwalk in September also.

On top of all this, we were flattered to be asked to create a ‘work of art’ for the Swarovski Elements Gallery in Hall Q. Our design team worked tirelessly to create the beautiful Black Swan:

Swarovski Gallery BBEH

Inspired by the senusal fragility of Natalie Portman’s award-winning Nina, and her tortured battle with her portrayal of Odile, in ‘The Black Swan’, this piece explores the darkness of the character through gnarly tactile materials, juxtaposed against the effervescence of crystal. Over 14,400 flatback stones and nearly 2300 fancy stones, pendants and bicone beads by Swarovski Elements have been used; the bodice is constructed of nearly three metres of crystal hematite fabric.

A big thank you to everyone who came to see us, we are so happy with the reaction we have had on our new collections – our best yet! If you couldn’t make it to the show, then give us a call to make an appointment with our company representative to ensure you don’t miss out on these stunning new bridal accessories.

If you are a bride and are interested in wearing Richard Designs accessories, please call 01353 661600 or email info@richarddesigns.co.uk and we can direct you to your local stockist.

Later this week we will reveal the bestselling new styles from the show! Until then you can see more images on our Facebook page.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the show, we really do enjoy catching up with you and showing you our beautiful new styles of wedding veils, tiaras, jewellery, petticoats, hats and fascinators. It was great to see such a turn out and to hear that 2011 is going well for you. We also met lots of new customers, including those who are opening new shops. BBEH Catwalk 2011

We had such a positive response to our two themes: Wedding in Wonderland and Fishtail Fantasies. Our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party was a huge success and we are pleased to say that all of our hard work culminated in our best ever spring show. As you all loved our tea party centrepiece so much, we will be publishing pictures here next week of the new tiaras and veils complete in the tea-party setting!

The catwalk shows were very popular this year and we had lots of requests for the accessories we had on the catwalk in Hall Q. The bold, statement pieces complemented the dresses beautifully and some even said they stole the show!

Come back over the next few days for pictures and bestsellers!

If you could not make it to the show, give Vicki a call on 01353 661600 or email vicki@richarddesigns.co.uk for a no-obligation appointment with one of our company representatives who will show you the new collection in the comfort of your own shop.
