2013 is here and we are sure it will be a year filled with weddings and joy. With new designs already on their way for 2013, we share our predictions of what will be hot for the new year.
Last season saw the continuation of a love of lace, and we think 2013 will be no different. With designers using lace in new and unexpected ways, we are sure to see some stunning lace creations in the coming year. Finishing lace with subtle silver sparkle and a touch of pearl adds glamour to this elegant look on both veils and tiaras. Our new veil C409B includes each of these key fashion trends.

Reflecting the popularity of lace, headpieces that mimic delicate woven shapes will be hitting shelves next year. Texture and depth are key to keeping this style current, with light laces, fabrics, diamante and pearls layered together, like in our TR1534A.

Heavy silver detailing is making way for delicate crystal and tiny pearls, creating an overall more sensitive and lighter look. Our Romeo & Juliet inspired collection will fulfill the need for romantic flowers and soft shapes.
Belts and shrugs will be the must-have accessories for 2013. Silver beaded belts such as our Belt009 are a great way to create an embellished waistline, and can be added or removed to transform your look from day to night. Our beautiful fur shrugs have been bestsellers since we launched them in April this year, and are perfect for the chilly winter ahead.
Made from a delicate, soft faux fur and lined with a smooth silky satin, they are a joy to wear and look beautiful too. There is a choice of two shapes, a cape and a wrap.
SH11-2 is our cape, complete with pom-poms. We introduced a mid-season version (SH11-3) with a brooch instead of the pom-poms which is fast becoming the favourite.

Blue Ribbon has a new home for this Harrogate show as we have moved to stand M30. M30 is next-door to our previous stand so you shouldn’t miss us!
On our new stand we will have more room for Blue Ribbon shrugs alongside our petticoats. Since their launch at last September’s BBEH, the shrug collection has been hugely popular, so of course we have some new styles to show you this time!
New shapes include the capelet, a full-collared bridal jacket, and a delicate Juliet-style pleated sleeve. We have combined these new shapes with stunning new fabrics including faux fur and spotted tulle!
Blue Ribbon are known for attention to detail, and the shrugs are no different. With brooch detailing, embellished beading, and crystal and lace edges there are some real eye-catching designs.
