Choosing & Wearing Wedding Jewellery

Your wedding day gives you the opportunity to celebrate according to your own individual style and tastes. Here are our expert tips to help that happen:

Tiara TR1042AThe most important thing to keep in mind with accessories is balance. Your jewellery, tiara and veil should all balance each other. For example simple, classic jewellery is often best if your tiara is large and full, alternatively you could choose a simple tiara and let your jewellery do all the talking.

As well as balance it is important to incorporate complementary styles in your tiara and jewellery to give a clean, sophisticated look. All of our jewellery can be made to match or coordinate with our tiaras.

It’s best not to choose your jewellery until you have found your perfect wedding dress, as it is easier to find complementing jewellery than a specific dress. Even though jewellery is one of your least expensive bridal purchases, it really is worthwhile spending some time looking around at your options because of the difference it can make.

Remember your necklace and earrings will be on show in all your wedding photos.Necklace P486 Silver

Don’t wear low quality jewellery. It can be obvious in your wedding photos, especially when sat alongside a good quality tiara, veil or gown.

Don’t feel obliged to wear family heirlooms if they don’t complement your contemporary dress. If your family insist, then suggest wearing the item on an occasion other than the wedding, such as the evening before or as part of your going away outfit.
