Earlier this month, singer Lily Allen walked down the aisle to marry her husband Sam Cooper. They wed in a beautiful Gloucestershire church, surrounded by family and friends.

Lily looked beautiful in her 1920s inspired dress by Delphine Manivet. With all-over lace, gathered hem and lace sleeves the dress was perfect for the natural, relaxed wedding.

Lily Allen’s veil and lace headpiece worked perfectly with the dress and were in keeping with the 1920s style Lily was aiming for. With two large flowers on either side and lace laying across the front of her head, the headdress looked very pretty.

We have a similar piece in our current collection which was released in March. The TR1285A headdress is light and pretty, just like Lily’s. It is versatile too, as it can be worn with a veil or without, enabling you to adjust your look throughout your day.

Lily’s two-tier veil was long and full, and had no edge nor decoration on the tulle itself. Lily let the dress and headpiece do all the talking with the full veil billowing behind her completing her bridal look.

We love that Lily went for something so unique and personal to her in the choice of her outfit, and we love that lace is still in full fashion as the celebrities all seem to be opting for it these days (did you see Olivia Ferragamo’s wedding gown last month?).
