It’s that time of year again! We are kicking off our show season with a visit to Moda UK (19th – 21st February) to show our stunning Boutique Collection hats and fascinators alongside a very special gown collection. Today we will be revealing our new colour palettes for 2012 & 2013.
Each season our designers use their magic to predict the hottest upcoming colours. This year the mood is subtle and subdued, with the five new colours being soft in nature, with shots of saturated tones for interest. Here is our Head Designer Kelly explaining what to expect for the coming season:
“The Boutique Collection for the upcoming season Spring and Autumn 2012 is developed to offer a wide choice of our most popular styles and shapes at the Moda show, along with insights into 2013 palettes. We have extensively researched the key colour trends within occasion wear and are confident that you will find the perfect colour collaboration for the garments that you will be purchasing at the show and will be anticipating delivery of for the Spring Summer season.
We have introduced five new colours to our already extensive colour book each designed to enhance the collection with trend-led and flattering shades to suit all. These include Camellia, a vibrant coral pink, Bridal Rose, a soft and sophisticated dusty pink, Sweet Pea a more modern twist on sweet lilac, Glacier, a soft silvery blue, and finally Buff a more neutral version of Nude, the colour of 2011, and which continues to dominate 2012. Buff compliments brights and blends with all tones, and is flattering on most complexions and hair colours.”
