From iPad fascinators to cartons of milk, this year’s Royal Ascot didn’t disappoint with the novelty hats. Nor did the style icons of the celebrity world let us down in the fashion stakes. Royal Ascot has always been about style and glamour and it is often said that the fashion is more noteworthy than the horses. 2011, it seems, is no exception.

If you are going to the races this year and need some inspiration on what to wear, check out our hat and fascinator galleries, our designer-picked outfits and advice on choosing the perfect hat for the races.
