Metallic and Coloured Edgings

Embroidered, fine edge, and cord edges are available in a range of colours including metallic gold or silver.

Embroidery and fine edged veils can be made with many coloured threads including burgundy, black, pinks, blues, lilac and matt, as well as metallic gold and silver.

Cord edges are also available in red, burgundy, black, matt and metallic gold or silver as well as the traditional shades of white, ivory, rum pink and cream.

Standard Veiling is available in the following popular colours at no extra cost

White	A brilliant white for use with a white dress.
Antique White	A soft white suitable to wear with white silk gowns or a very Pale Ivory.
Ivory	Regular Ivory veil, The popular colour to match most Ivory dresses.
Dark Gold	Looks good with the deep gold dresses Sometimes called Honey.
Light Gold	Similar to the above, but much softer in tone.
Silver	A non-metallic colour to match with a silver grey dress.
Pale Blue	Very pretty shade, looks lovely with a silver-blue dress.
Shell Pink	Sometimes called ‘Blush Pink’.
Rum Pink	Soft shade of pink.
Beige	A shade similar to Ivory but without the yellow tint. Useful with some shades of cream.
Hyacinth	A soft lilac shade.

Other standard colours include Red, Wine and black.

If you have a specific length needed we will be happy to cut the veil especially for you.

Edgings can be changed to suit your gowns and scattered pearls or crystals added as liked.

Veiling is also stocked in metallic gold or silver. If you have a special dress colour, we will do our best to match it for you.

Silk Gowns by Richard Designs

All our dresses are individually made to order in our workrooms. Variations can be made to suit and we offer a couture service at no extra cost. Fabrics used are the finest silks. Most of the gowns are available in a selection of colours.

Single Tier Veils

As well as traditional shapes, our veils can be made in a short ‘extra full’ style half or full combed for a bouffant effect.

If you do not want to wear a face veil or blusher your veil can be single tier, or for a very bouffant effect three, or four layers can be made especially for you.
