Bridal Studio COVID-19 Guidelines

Guidelines for Bridal Studio visitors

We have made changes to the way we run our appointments to protect the health of our staff and visitors. Please take care to read these guidelines carefully so you are prepared for your appointment.

Limited Appointments Available

We are limiting the number of appointments available to allow more time for cleaning and sanitising between appointments. Appointment times are all 1 hour 30 mins to allow enough time to adhere to social distancing. You can check availability and book your appointment here.

Who can you bring with you?

At this time, we can only accommodate one customer plus one guest. During your appointment there will be one member of our team, you, and your guest in the showroom. If you would like other friends and family to be involved in your appointment, you are welcome to connect to our wifi and use video calling.

Children are not allowed in the studio unless they are trying on dresses or being measured. If you bring a child with you, you are responsible for supervising the child at all times and should follow social distancing guidelines.

Social Distancing

Please make sure to adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times while in the bridal studio. This includes maintaining a distance of 2m between you and our team members and your guest (unless you are from the same household).

When you arrive

To help us keep to social distancing, please do not arrive before the start time of your appointment. The internal lobby door to our building will be locked until the appointment start time. If you arrive early you should wait outside.

You will be greeted at a 2m distance by a member of our team. They will explain to you how the appointment will run and kindly ask you to adhere to social distancing at all times.

You will be asked to wash your hands as soon as you arrive. Every visitor is required to wear white cotton gloves for the duration of the appointment. These will be provided for you, and are washed at 60 degrees after every wear.

In the Showroom

When you are in the showroom you and your guest will be shown where to sit. We kindly ask that you stay seated unless you are trying dresses on.

Our team member will talk to you about the product you would like to see, and will bring dresses to you from the rails. In order to reduce transmission of COVID-19 through surfaces, you won’t be able to browse the rails yourself.

When you are in the fitting room you will need to step into the dresses yourself and, if you can, fasten them yourself. We will guide you through this process.

Safety of Samples

We are reducing the number of people that are able to touch our samples. Everything that has been tried on will be sanitised before the next appointment so you can be confident the samples you are trying on are clean.

Making Payments

At this time we can only take payments by card.

You will be asked to stand back as our team member sets up the card machine for you. Once they have stepped away you can step forward to enter your pin. You will be asked to remove the receipt from the machine yourself.

While you are making payment we ask that you wear the gloves provided to you at the beginning of your appointment.

Face Coverings

You are not required to wear a face covering during your appointment. If you choose to do so, the Government advises that you need to:

  • wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser before putting a face covering on, and after removing it
  • when wearing a face covering, avoid touching your face or face covering, as you could contaminate them with germs from your hands
  • change your face covering if it becomes damp or if you’ve touched it
  • continue to wash your hands regularly
  • change and wash your face covering daily
  • if the material is washable, wash in line with manufacturer’s instructions. If it’s not washable, dispose of it carefully in your usual waste
  • practise social distancing wherever possible

Collecting your Order

To make it easier for customers to collect their orders, we have introduced a new system for collections. You can choose from the following options:

  1. Contactless Collection

Please call or email us to arrange a contactless collection of your items. You will be required to pay your balance by card over the phone before arriving to collect. We will carefully check and prepare your items and put them in the lobby ready for you to collect at your designated time. Please book a time to come in for your contactless collection online here.

  1. Collection Appointment

If you prefer, you are welcome to come in and try on your items before taking them home. The appointment guidelines detailed above will be in place for the duration of your appointment. Please check with us that your items are ready to collect and then book your appointment here.
