Our Wedding Dress Predictions for Meghan Markle

19 April 2018

The upcoming Royal Wedding is just around the corner! Only one month away and we can't wait to see what Meghan Markle chooses to wear on her special day! Here are some predictions of what silhouette and neckline Meghan's bridal gown may have. We take a look at Meghan's recent outfits in the latest press and compare them to some of our new bridal gowns. Which neckline do you think the future Princess will choose?

Richard Designs Dress - RDB1044 Emma , Meghan Markle in V-neck black dress, Richard Designs Dress - RDB1098 Madeline

Meghan looked beautiful in this emphasized V-neck gown with 3/4 length sleeves. The pinched in waist suits her shape and the neckline is flattering and modern. Will Meghan choose a bridal gown with a similar neckline with emphasis on the waist? Our brand new embroidered lace gown, Madeline may be the perfect choice! This new style also has a lace illusion sleeve which would be a demure choice for a Royal wedding look.

High Neckline:

Richard Designs Dress - RDB1012 Suzette , Meghan Markle in high neck dress, Richard Designs Dress - RDB1062 Paige

We think there's a good chance that Meghan may choose a fitted fishtail silhouette and a high neckline would be modern and elegant. This dress shape really suits Meghan, this teal fit and flair gown is flattering and sophistcated. Maybe Meghan will choose a slim fitting crepe gown like our Suzette gown. A lace gown like Paige, could be a great choice for a second dress, if Meghan plans to change gown for the evening. Princess Catherine had two bridal looks when she married Prince William in 2011. See our blog post here, to see how Kate changed her bridal look from day to night.

Richard Designs Dress - RDB1038 Millie , Meghan Markle in off-the-shoulder dress, Richard Designs Dress - RDB1091 Aria

The off-the-shoulder shape is so on trend for 2018 in fashion and can be seen coming through into bridal. Meghan has been spotted wearing various off-the-shoulder dresses including this maroon knee length style. Maybe Meghan will choose this modern silhouette for her Royal Wedding gown. We think this would be an elegant choice, paired with half up, half down hair and a long veil this look would be current and elegant.

Richard Designs - RDB1041 Grace , Meghan Markle in sweetheart red dress, Richard Designs Dress - RDB1043 Celia

This classic neckline would be the perfect choice for the future Princess. A sweetheart neckline with narrow straps is timeless and feminine. This neckline looks great paired with either an A-line or fit and flair skirt. See our lace vintage style Grace gown for a stylish silhouette. For a simple, modern gown, this smooth satin style, Celia is an alternative choice to lace. Will Meghan choose a gown with embroidery or lace detail or opt for a demure mikado or plain silk gown? We can't wait to find out! The countdown has begun. We will be keeping you up to date with the latest news on Harry and Meghan's big day.
