Our stockists enjoyed experiencing our latest collection in a relaxed atmosphere at this exclusive collection launch in Cambridge. Toi et Moi is our most romantic bridal collection yet, inspired by the French countryside. The collection is now live on our website for you to enjoy.

The event showcased our new collection of occasion wear, bridesmaid dresses, and bridal gowns, alongside beautifully crafted veils, curated food and drink, and exclusive content creation opportunities. Our stockists enjoyed a relaxed, boutique-style atmosphere in a picturesque setting—perfect for discovering our latest designs, networking, and celebrating the new collections.

New Bridal Collection – Toi et Moi

Stockists enjoyed the launch of our new bridal collection, Toi et Moi, in a light, bright, and beautiful bridal zone. Our incredible team of models showcased the designs so our stockists could experience the magic of each gown and veil, feel the fabrics, and see the way each dress moves and fits. Our new collection was also displayed on mannequins so stockists could experience each of the gowns up close and see every unique design detail. Our gorgeous new veil collection was displayed in a stunning arrangement to allow ease of browsing and shopping.

We launched our gorgeous new range of mini dresses – perfect for a hen do, second wedding dress, civil ceremony, or modern wedding celebration. Toi et Moi features an array of stunning bridal gowns with playful short hemlines, sheer skirt details, statement bows, and contemporary silhouettes. Designed in our UK studio, these mini dresses are a must-have for fashion-forward brides seeking modern bridal style, versatility, and effortless elegance every season.

New Release of Honora Colours

Wow! We have some stunning new Honora bridesmaid dress colours to choose from. We’ve introduced four beautiful new shades to our Honora collection: Pearl, Vintage Rose, Hot Pink, and Berry Magenta. These elegant, on-trend hues are perfect for a spring/summer wedding, adding a vibrant pop of colour to your special day. Ideal for modern bridal parties, these bridesmaid dresses combine timeless style with contemporary colour palettes. These colours would look amazing paired together for a pretty mix of pinks at a wedding ceremony in the sun, or a location wedding abroad.

We have now launched our stunning new occasion wear collection, now live on our website. The collection launch was a fantastic opportunity for our creative team to capture the new designs on a beautiful team of models in a picturesque venue. From professional photos to behind-the-scenes content, the day was filled with bridal storytelling, luxury styling, and high-quality content that truly highlights the essence of Toi et Moi.

Food & Drink

At our new collection launch, our stockists enjoyed a delightful breakfast of coffee and fresh pastries. During the day we served some delicious savoury canapés, followed by some sweet treats and a glass of fizz.

Hair & Make-up

Our models hair and make-up was created by the incredible refinedbeautyco.hairandmakeup. Beautiful half-up and half-down styles with loose tumbling curls created the ultimate bridal looks to showcase our veil collection. Thank you Jemma for doing an amazing job.

Complimentary Goody Bag

Our incredible stockists enjoyed a complimentary goody bag full of exciting treats from the likes of Charlotte Tilbury, Monty Bojangles, and luxury skincare from ESPA. The stockists also enjoyed a complimentary veil from the stunning new collection. At the event, stockists also received gorgeous hand and arm massages, courtesy of the team The Gonville Hotel.

Cambridge

It was great to showcase our new collections in a picturesque environment. The Gonville Hotel looks out onto a gorgeous view of Parker’s Piece, which was a great area for us to get some stunning content of the new collection.

Many of our stockists enjoyed an overnight stay at The Gonville, with some fun extras including an incredible tour in a Bentley, and complimentary Bobbin bikes to see the city on two wheels.

It was a fantastic day on 13th April celebrating the launch of our new collections. We would like to thank our incredible team of models, talented hair and makeup artist, content creators, designers, and sales team for bringing together such a beautiful and picturesque bridal launch event.

Set against a beautiful backdrop at Histon Manor and filled with excitement, we spent the day capturing our bridal gowns in a way that felt fresh, modern, and full of life. 2025 Favourite Moments

It has been another brilliant year at Richard Designs, with lots of amazing moments to share. We are so thankful to our team and the support of our stockists and brides. Thank you for your continued support. We cannot wait to catch up in the New Year and share our latest collections with you, which we have been busy designing!

Studio Catwalk Events

During March, May, and August, we hosted our New Collection studio events in our Ely showroom. This was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with our stockists and meet new customers, introducing them to our collections across Bridal, Bridesmaid, Honora and much more. Our stockists enjoyed a delicious lunch and bubbly while watching the show. We have some exciting new plans for our 2026 events, including gorgeous new locations for you to preview our collections. More updates to follow on this in 2026!

Harrogate Bridal Week

We launched our new collections at Harrogate Bridal Week from the 14^th-16^th September. We had an amazing show, and released our new 2026 collections across Bridal, Bridesmaid, Occasion Wear, Honora and much more. We were so excited to be nominated for the Wedding Dress of The Year with our Tallulah Dress RDB1491. This award recognises the standout wedding dress of 2025 as voted for by brides, running in collaboration with The National Wedding Show.

For the first time, we had the honour of showcasing eight of our new bridal looks on The Royal Catwalk. This was an amazing experience and great to see our new collection in the spotlight. Our team were so excited to feature on The Royal Catwalk, and we hope to be back on the catwalk next year! Our Golden Goddess collection turned heads on the runway, with the romantic satin swirl detail on Emily-Bay a favourite, alongside our sparkly mini dress, Maribel. Our luxurious Brisbane dress makes a statement with French Lace detailing, perfectly paired with our Chantilly Lace Mantilla Veil.

New Collection Photoshoots

During 2025, our new collections were photographed by an incredible creative team in some amazing locations! Our beautiful bridal collection was photographed on the stunning beaches in Australia. This was an amazing opportunity to capture our Golden Goddess collection against a surreal beachy backdrop. We photographed our Spring Honora collection at Swynford Manor, which was an incredible backdrop for our Liquid Satin collection. We also photographed our latest Honora collections at the incredible Stow Hall Gardens. This idyllic location in Norfolk provided the most amazing backdrop for our Liquid Satin and Crepe bridesmaid dresses.

Social Content Days

We were really excited to plan our first content day this year at Studio Snaps in Cambridge. We collaborated with an amazing creative team to produce some exciting content for our Instagram. We worked alongside some amazing models and a brilliant team to create some incredible content. Keep an eye on our socials to see more of our new bridal collection from the day! We also featured a few exciting photoshoots for our new bridal mini dresses and long-sleeved bridal gowns. It has been great to collaborate with new creative teams to display our new collections. It’s fantastic to be able to showcase our product on a diverse range of models and wedding styles to inspire brides and our stockists.

40th Birthday Celebrations

2025 saw us celebrate 40 years of Richard Designs! We are so proud of our heritage in UK manufacturing, our skilled staff and the wonderful community we have been fortunate to be a part of for 40 years. We look forward to what the future has in store for Richard Designs. We hosted a summer birthday BBQ to celebrate, with some special familiar faces joining us for food, Pimm’s and a delicious cake.

Fundraising

At our Ely studio, we have taken part in some exciting fundraising this year, raising money for some amazing charities, including the incredible Arthur Rank Hospice. They support people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced illnesses and other life-limiting conditions, and those who need end-of-life care. We have hosted bingo, bake sales, quizzes, a Christmas raffle and much more to raise funds. We are so proud of our team for raising money for such an incredible Charity, with a special thanks to Emily Welbourn for leading the fundraising committee. We have raised over £1000 so far this year and cannot wait for more fundraising challenges in 2026!

We recently launched our new collections at Harrogate Bridal Week from the 14^th-16^th September. We had an amazing show, and released our new 2026 collections across Bridal, Bridesmaid, Occasion Wear, Honora and much more. Studio Events At Richard Designs

We recently held our August studio event at our showroom in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This was a fantastic opportunity for stockists to visit, meet the team and most importantly, preview our exciting new collections! We had catwalk shows displaying our new collections, giving stockists the perfect opportunity to see our new dresses on the models and make their orders.

New Collection

We previewed our exciting new collections across Bridal, Bridesmaid, Honora, and Occasion Wear. Our New Bridal Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Golden Goddess, is perfect for the bride seeking effortless sophistication and beauty. Featuring corsetry, ballgown skirts, and beading that capture the essence of luxury. Dreamy fabrications include Linea Chiffon, Luxe Chiffon, Crepe De Chine, Waltz Satin, and Velvet. We also introduced Velvet to our bridesmaid collection, featuring some beautiful new shapes. Gorgeous accessories include must-have neck scarves to create the ultimate bridesmaid outfit. We previewed our new liquid satin Honora collection with our exciting new fabric, Crepe! Our new Occasion Wear collection, Romance, was also displayed for the first time, featuring some stunning new printed occasion wear!

Catwalk Show

What a magical catwalk show! Our new collections were on the catwalk, worn by our amazing team of models, this season with a curve model. With upbeat music and a great atmosphere, our studio events are a fantastic opportunity to see the new styles on the catwalk, and request to see any designs again at the end to give stockists a closer look at cut, fabric and fit.

As always at our studio events, our stockists enjoyed a delicious lunch and a glass of bubbly while watching the show. We had tasty pizza from Gino’s Pizza and salads from The Ely Grazing Company.
