These terms should be used in conjunction with Richard Designs Limited standard Terms of Sale. Our content, trademarks, copyright, patents, logos, domain names and other related intellectual property rights or other features of our brand belong to us. Your use of our services does not grant you any rights in intellectual property whether for commercial or non-commercial use.
Richard Designs Curated Membership is a paid-for product; an invoice for a set amount will be issued each month to customers signing up to join the membership programme.
The cost of membership will be agreed at the time of joining and best efforts will be made to avoid changing the pricing. However Richard Designs does reserve the right to make changes with at least 1 months written notice, not more than once in a 12 month period. Membership fees are quoted exclusive of VAT, which will be applied at the point of invoicing.
Benefits of membership will be provided in writing at the time of signing up. Best efforts will be made to avoid changing the benefits, however Richard Designs does reserve the right to make changes, with at least 1 months written notice.
As part of the membership, at least one item from the Richard Designs collection will be delivered to the customer once per month. Richard Designs will deliver this item within the first two weeks of the month. The value of the item, as set by the regular wholesale price, will be in line with the membership fee. Where the value of the item falls considerably below the membership fee, more than one item will be provided.
Free postage benefit
Free postage will be automatically applied to all orders placed by the customer once they are enrolled (i.e. after their first invoice is issued). This includes both Royal Mail and DPD delivery services.
The free postage offering does not include;
Premium delivery services. For example (but not limited to) Royal Mail Special Delivery, DPD “by 10am” service or weekend deliveries.
Delivery to an alternative address
Delivery “direct to bride” (this is available for a small additional fee)
The Membership “billing period” is monthly. New members will join on the 1st of the month following their request to join. For example, a customer agreeing to join on 20th of January will be enrolled from 1st February.
Membership fees will be invoiced on the first working day of each month.
Payment for membership will follow the customer’s existing agreed payment terms; where the customer is a enrolled in the Richard Designs “Direct Debit” or “Card Club” payment methods, payment will be taken automatically on the due date of the invoice.
Should the customer’s account be “on hold” (i.e. have overdue invoices or no agreed payment terms) then membership will be suspended, including all benefits associated with membership, until the account is back in good standing.
Membership is offered on a per-location basis and cannot be transferred between locations, stores, businesses or individuals without the prior written agreement of Richard Designs.
Cancellation;
Customers can notify Richard Designs of their intention to cancel at any time, cancellations must be made in writing.
While requests to cancel membership can be made at any time, membership itself cannot be cancelled in the middle of a billing period, rebates or pro-rating of membership fees will not be offered.
Cancellations take effect at the end of each billing period (month); for example a member cancelling on the 15th of January will cease to be a member at the close of business on 31st
All benefits of membership will continue to be conferred to the member until the end of the billing period.
Any customer who is placed into administration, a CVA, bankruptcy petition, receivership or is the subject of a CCJ will cease to be a member with immediate effect and all benefits associated with the membership will be withdrawn immediately.
Richard Designs reserves the right to cancel membership of individual customers, or to withdraw the membership offer and close the membership programme at any time.
