It has been another brilliant year at Richard Designs, with lots of amazing moments to share. We are so thankful to our team and the support of our stockists and brides. Thank you for your continued support. We cannot wait to catch up in the New Year and share our latest collections with you, which we have been busy designing!
During March, May, and August, we hosted our New Collection studio events in our Ely showroom. This was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with our stockists and meet new customers, introducing them to our collections across Bridal, Bridesmaid, Honora and much more. Our stockists enjoyed a delicious lunch and bubbly while watching the show. We have some exciting new plans for our 2026 events, including gorgeous new locations for you to preview our collections. More updates to follow on this in 2026!

We launched our new collections at Harrogate Bridal Week from the 14th-16th September. We had an amazing show, and released our new 2026 collections across Bridal, Bridesmaid, Occasion Wear, Honora and much more. We were so excited to be nominated for the Wedding Dress of The Year with our Tallulah Dress RDB1491. This award recognises the standout wedding dress of 2025 as voted for by brides, running in collaboration with The National Wedding Show.
For the first time, we had the honour of showcasing eight of our new bridal looks on The Royal Catwalk. This was an amazing experience and great to see our new collection in the spotlight. Our team were so excited to feature on The Royal Catwalk, and we hope to be back on the catwalk next year! Our Golden Goddess collection turned heads on the runway, with the romantic satin swirl detail on Emily-Bay a favourite, alongside our sparkly mini dress, Maribel. Our luxurious Brisbane dress makes a statement with French Lace detailing, perfectly paired with our Chantilly Lace Mantilla Veil.
During 2025, our new collections were photographed by an incredible creative team in some amazing locations! Our beautiful bridal collection was photographed on the stunning beaches in Australia. This was an amazing opportunity to capture our Golden Goddess collection against a surreal beachy backdrop. We photographed our Spring Honora collection at Swynford Manor, which was an incredible backdrop for our Liquid Satin collection. We also photographed our latest Honora collections at the incredible Stow Hall Gardens. This idyllic location in Norfolk provided the most amazing backdrop for our Liquid Satin and Crepe bridesmaid dresses.
We were really excited to plan our first content day this year at Studio Snaps in Cambridge. We collaborated with an amazing creative team to produce some exciting content for our Instagram. We worked alongside some amazing models and a brilliant team to create some incredible content. Keep an eye on our socials to see more of our new bridal collection from the day! We also featured a few exciting photoshoots for our new bridal mini dresses and long-sleeved bridal gowns. It has been great to collaborate with new creative teams to display our new collections. It’s fantastic to be able to showcase our product on a diverse range of models and wedding styles to inspire brides and our stockists.
2025 saw us celebrate 40 years of Richard Designs! We are so proud of our heritage in UK manufacturing, our skilled staff and the wonderful community we have been fortunate to be a part of for 40 years. We look forward to what the future has in store for Richard Designs. We hosted a summer birthday BBQ to celebrate, with some special familiar faces joining us for food, Pimm’s and a delicious cake.
At our Ely studio, we have taken part in some exciting fundraising this year, raising money for some amazing charities, including the incredible Arthur Rank Hospice. They support people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced illnesses and other life-limiting conditions, and those who need end-of-life care. We have hosted bingo, bake sales, quizzes, a Christmas raffle and much more to raise funds. We are so proud of our team for raising money for such an incredible Charity, with a special thanks to Emily Welbourn for leading the fundraising committee. We have raised over £1000 so far this year and cannot wait for more fundraising challenges in 2026!
